I created this resource after landing my first book deal. That was in 2021 for my book “A Healing Journal for Black Men”
When my aunt asked me to help her write her own book, I realized how much I wished I had a step-by-step guide when I started. Over the course of about 2.5 years, I learned so much, from securing a publishing deal to navigating self-publishing for the projects I’m most passionate about.
My second book went on to be featured in Forbes, and I’ve continued refining my process, learning how to replicate that success while staying true to my creative voice.
